Why costs, and not more pet advice

Pet owners are not short of advice about food, enrichment, or training. They are short of a straight answer to "how much will this cost, and will insurance pay for it?" That question is usually answered by a hospital invoice at the worst possible moment. We publish ranges, the line items behind them, and the coverage rules — before the invoice exists.

What we are not

We are an informational publisher, not a veterinary clinic, a telehealth provider, or an insurance broker. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a quote. When a symptom is an emergency, we say so before discussing price.

How we are funded

Some links to insurance, telehealth, financing, and pharmacy partners are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
